Located in Buea, the univeristy of Buea was founded in the year 1985 with English Speaking tradition. With a mission to provide opportunities for all with quality education through teaching and research, the University with Buea stands among the top university in Cameroon. The University is devoted to the continual search excellence, the promotion of ethical and human values, and provision to the community. Its teaching and analysis program emphasize on significance and encourages tolerance and promote inventive, independent thinking which is crucial for society. The university has 7 schools, i.e., Engineering, Arts, Education, Health Sciences, Science, and Social and Management Sciences, Agriculture and Veterinary medicine and also the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters (ASTI),and the College of Technology as its professional schools.
